]]> Food is something that everyone must have in order to have the necessary vitamins and nutrients for the body. With the many fruits and vegetables that play a big role in this, some of those may not have such a good effect on some people.

Tomatoes help to give food the flavor it needs and is loaded with lots of antioxidants and benefits for the body. However, there is a particular protein that is also in the tomato, and this causes a problem for many who suffer from food allergies.

There a so many foods that have some form of tomato in it, and those who are allergic to it will know it when they eat it. They can have a very bad headache or a migraine, hives and eczema can develop on their skin as well. Drinking lots of water and eliminating the tomatoes from the foods that is cooked will help. Talk to a doctor to see if tests may need to be done to determine the strength of the allergy with tomatoes.

]]> Anytime there is a party, activity or an event with church, school or home, there is going to be plenty of snacks that will give a variety of foods that taste good. Peanuts are an all time favorite and go with anything at any time. Just grab a hand full of this snack and nibble away.

Not everyone can handle eating peanuts. There are many people who are allergic to this little piece of a snack because of the oil, among other things that goes in it. If someone eats the nuts and has allergies with nuts, there may be some hives, a rash that itches, nausea and/or not being able to breathe normal.

Peanuts do make a good and healthy snack, but the only sure treatment and alternative for those who have allergies with peanuts is to leave the nuts alone. Keep in mind, many foods make peanut oil part of the ingredients.

]]> These days, companies are adding so many things to the soaps and detergents in hopes of improving its products, such as soaps and detergents. Consumers will buy these products thinking each one will be better than another or better than previously. Yet, along with the improved or new products, comes new or combined ingredients. And, some people tend to have or develop allergies to those new or modified ingredients.

When using soap, while washing the hands, taking a shower and/or bath, the skin can start to become dry, while itching, tiny bumps pop up and there may some burning. How about washing clothes in a laundry detergent that is in the clothes. One could easily think the fabric is the problem, but instead it may be the detergent. Until the source is recognized, the problem will only worsen. Nobody likes to spend time scratching and rubbing the skin. This only irritates the skin more.

]]> Everyone wants to look their best and will go through great lengths to do so. Daily regimens are part of the human habit to look beautiful, while smelling good. Yet, some of those things that are used to make this happen can easily rub people the wrong way, literally.

Perfumes, colognes and body sprays are nice to have and have some wonderful scents that smell so good and can also make a big difference in the appearance of someone. But, the mere hint of the smell can cause someone’s eyes and throat to burn as it feels tight, itch, begin coughing, sneezing and in some cases a chest that feels tight.

If this happens, it is important for the person who is having the reaction to find another area to go to where the air is clearer and free of the smells.
